HORTICULTURAL SHOW
The annual show of the State Collieries’ Horticultural Society will open to-morrow in the Miner’s Hall, Ilunanga, and an exceptionally fine display is assured, notwithstanding the unfavourable weather ; which has prevailed here of late. The classes for flowers and vegetables have all attracted numerous entries, while an additional interest will bp , given to the show by the two special displays which are being brought over by Mr; • Bradbury, the judge, for exhibition only, in the cookery class there is a fair number of entries, and the show promises to be a decided success. An afternoon tea room Is being provided by the ladies. The show will be continued on Saturday.
