The attendance is large, but the course and going is heavy as a result of the recent rain. Following are the results : MAIDEN HACK HANDICAP, 5 fur-longs. —Statuette 1, Astinome 2, Philomela 3. Scr. —Restful, Queen Carnival, Semoda, Seaform, Vance, Timidity, Gold shine, Stutter, Evening Glow, Multiplex, Livland, Turpenite. Won by two lengths. Time 1.3 2-5. BALLANCE HACK HANDICAP of 115 sovs. ; ' 1 mile and a distance. — Battle Array (7.6) 1, Willy’s Knight (7.3) 2, Royal Battery (7.3) 3. Also started —Arihia, Railand and Greta.
