A largely-attended meeting of members of tne House of Commons, but not including Laborites, passed resolutions that a return to party Government during the war or in the subsequent reconstruction period would be a national disaster. TTiey urged the maintenance of a Coalition Government.

The Unionist War Committee passed a resolution urging the Government to make a definite declaration of their economic policy.
