In tlieir weekly list of books, Whitcomb ;ukl Tombs. Ltd., Cashel Street, Christchurch publish several books that are sure to command a wide sale. “Pasture Plants and Pastures of New Zealand,” by Dr F. W. Hilgcndorf, Lincoln College, will be greatly appreciated by farmers and those going on the land. A special number of “The Illustrated London News” contains a descriptive account of the great naval raid on Ostend and Zeebrugge. “Homo Labour-Saving Devices,” "bv Rhea C. Scott, aims at increasing the efficiency in the farm home. Books of special interest are those dealing with the war and our soldiers. L’ssts will,be forwarded on application.
