Russian wireless lias issued the text of an agreement between Great Britain, the Knifed States, and France, and the Mnrman Regional Council providing for co-ordinate action for the defence of the Murman region against the German Coalition Powers. The agreement describes the region as the former Alexandrnv.sk district of the Province of ArUargelesk, and provides that the Entente equip and instruct Russian armed forces of Mnrmnns, which, it m stipulated, will be under Russian command. Tbe Entente undertake not t*n interfere with Murman Eternal affairs, and the Regional Council undertake energetic precautionagainst espionage. The Entente undertake to secure food and staple requirementfor the Murman population, tb° necessary technical equipment and financial assistance for the Merman authorities. The agreement is binding until normal relations between the Russian central authority on the one part and the Murmansk Council and the Entente on the other are re-established.
