The rainfall for the last month was 9.32 inches, compared with 9.45 inches for the corresponding month last year. The rainfall for the past 24 hours was O.GOius. WEATHER REPORT. Grey mouth—Wind, east, fresh breeze, barometer, 30.04 degrees; tides, moderate ; bar, slight swell. Westport.—Wind, south-east, light breeze ; barometer, 30.03 ;, thermometer 35; tides, moderate; bar,'smooth. WEATHER FORECAST. The indications are for southerly winds, moderate to strong and weather probably cold and changeable. There will probably be a hard frost to-night. 'The bar,,meter has a rising tendency. I Sea and tides moderate.
