A NAPIER RESOLUTION. . (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, April. 9. To-night the Borough Council discussed a letter from the Napier Patriotic Association, asking support of a resolution praying the GovernorGeneral to remove from among ]vs adv&ers any men of enemy blood. The resolution further urged that men of enemy blood be removed from the Public Service. The Mayor condemned the proposal, and said that the motion was one that should be left to the Government, He considered the resolution aimed at the Hon. A. M. Myers, ■whose loyalty was unquestioned. The Council should not be a party to try and hound him out of public life. The majority of the took up the attitude that the time had arrived when no risks should be taken, and it -was decided to support the Napftr resolution.
