CORPORAL F. DOIDGE. Corporal Fred. Doidge, who was cb repoiter on the Auckland "Star," before he enlisted for. active service, is seriously ill in London. SECOND LIEUT. L. M. HUGHES. Second Lieutenant L. M. Hughes reported killed in action is the eldest son of Mr Hughes, the well-known artist, for many years residents of Hokitika MAJOR G. MASSEY. The Prime Minister received a telegram from General Richardson, stating that Major George Massey. reported severely wounded a. few days ago, is progress ng satisfactorily. CAPTAIN T. S. GILLIES, M.C. Captain T. *S. Gillies, M.C, whose name appears amongst the list of wounded, is a nephew of Mr J. D Gillies, Greymouth. Captain Gillies was recently, awarded the Military Cross. CORPORAL R. B. SMITH. Mr and Mrs E. J. Smith hav e been advised that their eldest son, Corporal R. B. Smith who left New Zealand with the 27th Reinforcements, and who has been ill was transferred on March 30th to tllo Convalescent Hospital, Homeland]. CORPORAL A. GRANT. Corporal A, Grant, formerly of Tymons and Co.'s staff, who left with the 20th Reinforcements writing from France, -reports that he lias seen a lot of service since leaving Greymouth, and has so far escaped ay injury. He desires to t,V his many friends for. numerous parcels which came to hand at Christmas. PRIVATE E. C. MARTYN. Mir and Mrs E. C Martyn, of Kumar;., have received cable information that theneldest son. Private E. C. Martyn, who has been in fighting line for the past U months, has been wounded and admitted to the 43rd Stabnrn Hospital, Buffenn from concussion and gun shot wound left buttocks, thigh and leg. Tim is the second time he has been wounded I heir second son returned to camp yesterday.
