Replying to Sir Godfrey Isaac's challenge to repeat in public the statements made in the House of Commons in reference to the Marconi case, Sir C. E. Hobhouse, in u letter to the newspapers, denies that he endeavoured to induce the Telefunken tCompany to compete fox* British contracts against Marconi; also Sir Godfrey Issac's assertion that Sir C. E. Hobhouse while PostmasterGeneral, admitted that Sir Godfrey Isaacs had a foot on his neck and begged Sir Godfrey Isaacs not to reveal the Telefunken negotiations, otherwise he would be forced to leave the Government. Sir Godfrey Isnaes has now issued a writ for libel against Sir C. E. Hobhouse.
