A number of the -Catholic clergy from other parts oi the Diocese, who attended the funeral obsequies of the late Dean Carew, left- this morning by the Olrnu express. • . iVlr J. A. Frostick, a member of the Efficiency Doard for Canterbury, was an outward passenger by the Otua express this morning. Miss Rebecca May Cox < eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W, Cox, of Peel Street, Westport, and Mr Charles Harper, of Wanganui, were married at Westport on .Tuesday last. 'J hey subsequently left for Wanganui, their future home. Professor E. R. Martin, formerly of the famous Fisk Jubilee Singers, but now teaching music in Nelson, is at present on <> a visit to Greymouth. To-morrow evening Professor Martin will sing at the Peerless Pictures his waltz song, “When We Get Back to New Zealand,” which, ho sang under vice-regal patronage fn various parts of New Zealand. The Professor has a voice with a wonderful range, and music_lovers are in for a treat to-morrow night. The *jnusic of Professor Martin's songs is on sale at A. E. Kilgour’s, stationer.
