The Western Railway Company Has decided to close the terminus stations and place its property in the Government's hands, owing to the lawlessness of the employees. Other lines' are likely to adopt the same policy. The public demands a proclamation ol'a state of siege. The Government must not show further weakness. Tho strike is causing immense loss, inconvenience and suffering.
