ITEMS OF INTEREST
A number of commercial travellers in town who arc taking part in the Rev. Tommy Taylor’s entertainment at the Opera House to-morrow have fiarf .. rail rehearsal of their programme. Messrs Bush, Aldridge, and Short are taking the lead, supported by their variety troupe.
In connection with the poster competition at to-morrow night’s entertainment, tlip public will be supplied with voting papers at a, cost of one penny each. The, numbers thereon correspond with the numbers opposite the names on the old programmes. Voters will detach, the number of tlioir choice*, and place in the voting boxes upon leaving the ball.
Patrons of the T. F. Taylor entertainment will have no difficulty in obtaining sweets "To Tip pass the time” (Mrs Taylor in “Acid Drops’’), as a choice assortment of home-made sweets will be offered for sale during the evening. ’
