THE SUN. , The sun sets to-day at 4.42 p.m ; rises to-morrow at 7.10 .a.m. THE MOON. The moon rises to-day at 0.4 a.m. ; sets to-morrow at 1.50 p.m. LOCAL REPORT. The maximum temperature recorded • yesterday was 77 degrees and the minimum 44 degrees. At nine o’clock tin’s morning the barometer registered 29.44 inches, and the thermometer 50 degrees. The rainfall last month was 8.14 in. on ten days, as compared with 8.68 in. on fifteen days in March, 1916. WEATHER REPORT. Westport. —Wind, south-east, light ; barometer. 29.45 ; thermometer, 5.1 ; tides, moderate; liar, smooth. Creymoutli.— Wind. east, light; barometer. 29.44; thermometer, 50; tides, good ; bar, slight swell. THE WEATHER, The indications are for westerly winds, strong to gale and backing by west to south. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Heavy rain is to be expected with rivers rising shortly. The barometer has a falling tendency, hut rising shortly.
