ZEEBRUGGE ATTACKED
ADMIRALTY'S REPORT. NINE GERMAN MACHINES DESTROYED. J .ON DON, May 13. The Admiralty reports further: A portion of our Dover forces heavily bombarded Zeebruggc. the naval airservice co-operating. Nine enemy aeroplanes were brought down. Two of ours are missing. A GERMAN VERSION. NO DAMAGE DONE. [Australian and N.Z. Liable A asocial inn.] AMSTERDAM, May 13. Berlin’s version of the bombardment of, /eebrngge is that monitors fired at a'great distance and batteries forced their withdrawal. There was slight material damage and no victims. SUBMARINE SHEDS DESTROYED. GERMANS LOSE HEAVILY. [AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.] AMSTERDAM, May 13. The British bombed and blew up two submarine sheds at Zeebrusrge. . Sixtythree German sailors and soldiers were killed, and a hundred wounded. NO DAMAGE DONE. A BERLIN REPORT. LONDON. May 13 Berlin official.—Enemy monitors shelled Zedbriiggo on Saturday. There were; no casualties.
