'Wireless German Official.— Great English attacks at Lens to Que.ant, between Ga.vrelie and Scarpe, astride the Arras-Cainbrai road, near Bullecourt, broke down. They only succeeded in forcing an entry at Hoeux. Attacks on both sides of Moncliy also brokedown. Tiie advantages that the English gained at. Bullecourt have again been recovered by onr Guards, Counter thrusts >if the French astride the Cor-beny-Roiitavet road failed. The enemy lost yesterday seventeen aeroplanes. Wo repulsed several attacks eastward of Cerna and southward of lluina.
