German Oflicial.—The artillery oil both sides reached its greatest violence on the whole of the Arras front. British advances at Fresnoy, lioeux, ana between Mommy and Uiorisy failed. We sanguinarily repulsed an attempt to storm Bulleeoui't by an encircling movement. There is an artillery battle on the Soisson-Laoii road and on both sides of Cradnne and along the AisnejMare Canal ,and in the Champagne; also at some points in Argonne. \\ e repulsed strong attacks between AV'interberg and Berry au Bac and on the Corleny road, also at i'rosnes. Ue brought down eighteen enemy aeroplanes.
