SOLDIERS' TOBACCO AND COMFORT FUND

Owing- to the various patriotic collections that have taken place recently, the regular collections for the above fund have been allowed to lapse- However, the country collections have been keeping up fairly well, and it is now up to the townspeople to make up for their past deficiencies next Saturday, when the lady collectors will make their regular house-to-house collections, and, as Chaplain Taylor recently mentioned to tlie local Secretary and Treasurer, Mr Joseph McLean, the tobacco and cigarettes sent from the West Coast district through the Overseas Club have been the best received at the Front, comprising as they do

Three Castles cigarettes, Havelock and Capstan tobacco.
