The Hawkes Bay Jockey Club’s meeting will take place to-morrow and Saturday. V. Lee left this morning for the North Island, where he will do the riding of Mr. A. J. Shearsby’s horses. Indigo and Trials have been supported from the right quarter for the Hawkes Bay double (Porangahua Handicap and Cup), to be decided to-mor-row. The hitters reads particularly, well treated.
Kilboy, Kill’era and Good Day will, in all probability be taken across to Sydney by M. Hobbs in June, there being more scope for four-year-olds at weight-fur-age across the pond than there is in this country.
