The Minister; • asked if there was a probability of the Government adopting a scheme for supplying retailers cm the Imperial Government's scale, plus storage charges, replied; ’ ‘’Nothing yet has been, decided. The question is a very big one, with many phases. If such a scheme is adopted it will be useless, without a guarantee. from the retailors that, they will not exceed a reasonable maximum.”
