The maximum temperature recorded g yesterday was 56 degrees, and the minimum for the night was 40 degrees. 2 At 9 o’clock this morning the barometer registered 29.92 in.. andthether- g mometer 55 degrees. The rainfall last month was 6.64 in. on thirteen days, as compared with 4.35ih., on fourteen days in June last year. During the 24 -j hours ending at 9 a.m. to-day the rainfall was 1.04 in., making a total of 1.42 in. on four days this month.
