“SUNSHINE AND SHADOW” TO-NIGHT. The new' programme to be submitted to patrons at the Opera House tq-night is fairly studded with stars, the orfc big Stella attraction being the Vitagraph exclusive feature ' drama, “Sunshine and Shadow.” This is a stirring human story of a couple who are enjoying life’s bar-' many and become estranged through a woman’s jealousy, but after many vicissitudes work their way out of the shadow of despair into the sunshine of mutual love. Dramas dealing with the strenuous life of Western America have been specialised by the “Flying A” Company, and have become immensely popular with “movie” patrons. One of these will be screened to-night under the title of “In the Heart of the Woods.” The other dramatic exclusive is an appealing story founded on an incident of the American Civil War, produced under the title of “The Three Roses.” A Keystone comedy “Crossed Love, imd Swords,” an “h-Ko” farce, “Bill’s New Pal,” an interesting number of the Australian Gazette, and an authentic official picture, “With the French Array in Lorraine” make up the balance of a well-selected programme.
