The Autumn meeting of the Forbury Park Trotting Club opened to-day in fine, but windy, weather. The tote investment;, were £18,253, compared with £15.010 for the corresponding daj of last year. A protest was lodged by Fox, the owner of Rose Gauntlet, against Tottywood, the winner of the Trial Handicap, on the ground of interference, but it was dismissed. An appeal has been lodged.
