The maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 72 degrees, and the miniilium'for the night was 56 degrees. At 9 o'clock this morning the barometer registered 29.89 degrees, and the thermometer 64 degrees. Rain has fallen on 15 days this month, the total being 11.15 in.

WEATHER FORECAST.
Last evening the Dominion Meteorologist telegraphed the following weather summary:—"Fair weather has prevailed with anti-cyclonic conditions, but the barometer shows a falling tendency everywhere." \
Mr D. C. Bates telegraphed at noon today as follows: — "The indications are for freshening northerly winds to gale. Expect dull weather'with much mist and fog in parts. Heavy rain is to be expected with rivers rising shortly; barometer falling; sea rough and tides good."
