POLLARD'S PICTURES

A large audience went away from the Opera House last evening well pleased with the bill of fare nut before them. The Irish drama "Kelly of the Emerald Isle" though starting slowly works up to a very fine study of Irish life and with the incidental dances and customs of the times culminates in a very clever piece of sensational realism. The piece will be repeated to-night for the last time and as the other items on the programme arc- of equal merit patrons cannot do better than pay a visit. On Wednesday evening an extra attractive display is promised, when the star picture will b c a powerful dramatic Vitagraph .story, "The Test of Friendship." Miss Elaine Terriss and .Mr. Seymour Hicks will be seen in vaudeville turns and a good cinema picture of the U.S.S. Go's ferry boat Walline is included in the programme.
