THE NEW REEF. (By Telegraph —Special to the Star. REEFTON, This Day. The following is ;i copy of a cable sent to the London office yesterday of the Progress Mines of New Zealand, : —"No. 35 east drive —results to date-: The first 3^ft. not previously reported are unpayable; the next 18ft. gave 19.54 dwts. ; the next 10ft. average value is 10 dwts. The reef is still in the face, except at fop of south side of the reef. It appears to he pitching south. Considerable development work will 'ln'' iiecrssn ry before Hie full extent and value of this body will be known."
