Landseer’s “Otter Hunt,’’ for which £IO,OOO was originally paid, .realised 1200 guineas. Darkson Stanfield’s “Wooden Walls of Old England,’’ 160 guineas, against the original price of 2700 guineas. Tadema, Prout, Rosa Bonheur and many others greatly depreciated.
