The Arahura is still in port, and will sail as soon as the weather permits. The Kittawa leaves Wellington to-mor-row for Greymouth.
The Mapourika is due to-morrow morning, and sails on return at 6 p.m. The Poherua sails for Westport and Lyttelton to-night, bar'permitting. The Koynya will sail for Wellington when the weather moderates. The Kaitoa was unable to sail last evening for Tarakohe, as anticipated, but will, if the bar is workable, sail this evening. The Alexander leaves Wellington tomorrow for Greymouth. via way ports. The Waimea leaves Nelson to-day for Westport and Greymouth, and is due to-morrow night. The Ngatoro is expected .to arrive from Wellington to-night, and sails on return to-morrow night. The Ngahere left Napier last night, and is expected to arrive in Greymouth tomorrow night. She sails on Friday for Timaru and Lyttelton.
Owing to the rough state of the bill' there were no movements in the port of Greymouth this morning. It was still doubtful at. 3.30, if the bar would be available this afternoon. At most only the Arahura and Kaitoa will be able to

f The wrecked Star of Canada has suffered badly recently durin.g the recent bad 'weather. The vessel lias sunk .about forty feet in the last month, her rudder now being totally submerged. The main topmast seems to have brokeii, off short and gone overboard, and the remaining derrick swings about aimlessly in the wind. The violent swinging about of the afterpart of the wreck serves to indicate that she has broken her back just abaft the-foremast, # and it, ! seems riuite certain that with a couple' move days' sea such las was running on Sunday, the wreck • would be in two pieces,
