WEDDING
HART-SMITH, A prett? Wedding wfis solemnised in St. Thames' Ohufch, Runanga, on Wednesday last by the Venerable Archdeacon York, of Greymotith, assisted by the curate Mr. C Dobson, when Mr. Herbert H. Hart was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Miss Sarah Jane Smith, fourth and youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Smith, of State collieries and formerly of BrUnner. The wedding march was played by the Miss Elizabeth Coulthard, The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a lovely dress of cream eharmeuse with silk trimmings and wore the orthodox veil, and wreath of orange blossoms* She also caried a shower boUqUet of maidenhair ferns and white blooms. The bridesmaid, who also carried a bouquet, was ynetitily 'atttfrdd in a dress of cream serge with silk trimmings, and Wore a black and white picture hat; The bride's present to the bridegroom, was a set of gold sleeve links, and that of the bridegroom to the bride a diamond and ruby brooch, and to the bridesmaid a pretty gold necklet with cross pendant. Mr. Colin McDonald attended IB best man. After the ceremony the bridal party left by motor for Greymouth and on their return, Were entertained with their friends and guests at the residence of the bride's parents where a sumptuous repast was spread and the usual toasts wero duly honoured. The happy couple were the recipients of many valuable and Useful presents. We all join in wishing them prosperity and happiness in their future life.
