GOADED INTO VIOLENCE
PROVOKING THE CUBAN NEGROES. SITUATION IN HAVANA MENACING. WASHINGTON, June 11. A despatch from Havana reports that the situation is menacing. I’he negroes in the Cuban capital, it ; s slated, are being goaded into an outbreak of violence, and foreign residents are in a state.of the greatest apprehension. Admiral Osterhouse, of the United Stales Navy, is proceeding .in a despatch ship to Havana.
