WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr A. C. Nottingham, in ropl } y -to Ml Gold’s statement, re Jey's Fluid CoSn> paijy, gives an extract from a letterr>by the Company to him, of August 26th, 1911, stating that they had explained, to Mr Beauchamp that, while in sympathy with, stopping useless cutting of the they were anxious that the minirdtun prices should not be unnecessarily high. Mr Beauchamp replied that, if his Association were appointed distributing agents, they would regulate this in a tfky satisfactory to all parties. V Mr Nottingham adds that in this, when asked by, the-Commission, - iMr Beauchamp had tried to get exclusive edbtral of Jeye’s Fluid for the McrchatiU' Association, ho replied in the affirmatjvk, and had no other alternative.
