This concluded the business of the Conference. ATTITUDE OF THE MINISTER. WELLINGTON, This Day. Delegates, representing the Conference of Education Boards, waited on tiie Minister of Education to-day and placed before hi mtho resolutions passed by the Conference. 1 The Hon. Mr. Hanan said that, a 1 statement would be made by the. Minj ister in charge of the Local Government Bill, to the effect that inquiry was about to be set up dealing with the cost of education, both primary, manual and technical. He hoped that the great question of national education would always be put above party or faction.
