At the Police Court to-day thirtyeight Chinese made their appearance as a result qf the recent raid by the police. Ting King was charged with being the occupier of premises used as a common gaining house. Accused was remanded, on bail,
dim Wong and Al l Lee wore also adjudged principals inasmuch as they assisted in the management of the premises. The. latter, who was only a new arrival, was lined £2, whilst the charge against Jim Wong was reduced to one of being found in a common gaming house. He was fined £l. The remaining thirty-five were changed with being found in a common gaming house and were each fined -£l-
