Owing to the heavy rain last night there was a strong flood in the river to-day, and no shipping movements were possible. The To A nan sailed yesterday for Blug and Duneclin. The Ngatoro sailed last night for Wellington. , The Putiki sailed last night for Westport. Tlie Inga, sailed last night for Sydney with a cargo of timber. The Pukaki arrived last night from Dnnedin. and sails to-night for Onehnnga and Auckland. Tho Kini arrived yesterday afternoon from Lyttelton, and 'sail sto-night for Westnort to load. The Kaiapoi sails' to-night for Sydney with a cargo of, timber. The Karori sails to-night for Lyttelton with a cargo of coal.
