The Chairman stated that since the close of the financial year they had secured a fair quantity of fresh bush, which would absorb some of the cash in hand Referring to the recent alterations in the tariff he said the effect would be to raise the orices of butter boxes as producing better grades for the butter business they were compelled to make a large quantity suitable only for fruit.cases. If the market for this class was restricted or taxed heavily the price for the better classes would have" to be raised to compensate for loss on the lower grades. The outlook for the current year was encouraging. There were good inquiries and forward business. It was expected to pay a half-yearly dividend in June.
