Lord’s Picture Enterprise screened for the last time “Mates from Murnnubridge” and One Hundred Years Ago” last evening to a large and appreciative audience. SUNDAY. .
Henry VIII., and Catherine Howard as presented by the Sir Herbert Tree Company of His Majesty’s, London, will be the star film. This particular photo drama was produced at enormous cost and the staging is on an unparelled scale of magnificence while the dressing is superb. The (whole production is ranked first of all photo dramas for spectacular beauty, the colour scheme and the various tableaux being a triumph of stage management. The world’s greatest actor, Sir Herbert Tree appears as Henry VIII. The star film will be supported by “The Two Paths” (pathetic drama), “The two boots,” (love romance) “The Valley of Asto,” (coloured scenic), "Hawkeseyes Busy Day,” etc., etc.
Lord’s Orchestra will render entirely new musical selections.
