LONDON, April, 23. A large meeting at Holyhead was addressed by Mr. John Redmond (Leader of the Irish Party) on the.lrish and Welsh questions, /Mr. Ellis Griffith, Welsh M.P;,. presiding. : . V Mr. Redmond declared that the people of Ireland and Wales were each united in their respective demands for reform. The people of Ireland recognised that the case of Wales, like their own, was one of the great national .issues. "Wales," he said, -'may rely upon the Irish Party insisting on the disestablishment of the Church of Wales being carried into law during the present Parliament." He looked forward, he added, to day when the thorny educational question would be .settled by ah agreement on national lines. Mr. Ellis Griffith said that next session of Pafiament would see Home Rule and Welsh Church Disestablishment carried through the House of Commons, which would enable both reforms to come within the purview. ; of the Parliament Bill, and become law during the present Parliament.
