REBELLION IN URUGUAY.

SEVERE FIGHTING. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.] BUEYNOS AYRES, March, 20. The disturbance in the Uruguayan Republic continues, and news has just come across the La Plata of a severe engagement between the forces of the Dictator, Senor Jaro ,and the rebels. The fighting which was of a bitter character, took place at Villa Rosario, about ten miles from the river on the San Jose-Colonia railway. The troops of Senor Jaro routed the rebels, killing Doctor Riqueline ,and capturing other rebel leaders. The Dictator admits that having on his side lost four officers and one hundred men killed. The rebels’ losses are not known.
