MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT.

SEVERAL SEVERELY INJURED. [BY TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON N., Feb. 21. A serious motor accident occurred at Tiakitahune this evening. A party were driving along a level road in a large car, and when trying to avoid an approaching vehicle, the car went on to the grass at the side of the road and overturned twice. The occupants all fell out. One, Symqnds, fractured the bone of his left f°>'earm, and his right, arm was badly lacerated. Miss Symonds fractured her right collarbone. Colin McKenzie smashed his left shoulder and Mrs McKenzie fractured her right shoulder joint. G. Kendall received a severe scalp wound, and is suffering from sliock The last-named was taken to a house at Oroua Bridge, while the other four were brought in to the Palmerston North Hospital.
