At the last meeting of the Nelson Land Board, the Mowing business in regard to the West Coast was transacted :

Application for occupation license with right of purchase Andrew Anderson, section 7, Block IV, and section 7, Block 111, Howard, <194 acres.—Granted. Application for renewable lease.—A. G. R. Taylor, section 5, Block HI, Lewis, 512 acres 2 roods. —Declined, applicant ineligible. William George Thornton and Francis Augustus Ballinor, Block XV, Manna, 400 acres.—Granted, subject to suirvey.

Henry Marshall Lowt-her, Block 11, 27 acres.—Further postponed for the Warden's report: Applications for pastoral licenses unde)' the regulations of Gtli September, 1904.

James Wiliam McMastor, Block XIV, Mokihinui, 100 acres.—The Warden's concurrence having boon received, the application was granted, subject to survey, at an annual ’ental of 6d per acre. James Colvin, Block 11, Steeples, 270 acres. —The Wardetn’s concurrence having been received the application was granted, subject to survey, at an annual rental of 6il per acre.
