jggniaßß FOOTBALL. DETAILS OF SENIOR COMPETITION. A conference of representatives of the St;u- and United Football Clubs was "held at the Albion Hotel last evening. Mi Jauies Stenhouso presided and explained that the meeting bad been called to eotisider a proposal by I lie West Coast Rugby Union that both Clubs should entei' two teams for the Sciiiui competition this year. After considerable discussion, the following resolutions were arrived at. (1). that both Star and United Clubs nominate two senior teams each provided that the third grade class is abandoned. (2). That only senior, and • orrespondinejy lower grade nominations be received from the other distners. (3). That there be no interchange of players between the "A" and "R" teams of the respective Clubs, as originally selected. (4). That each club hand in a list of 30 players to the Union and that two delegates from the Star Club ami two delegates from the United Club, with the president of the West Coast Rimby Union be a selection eommitieo io draft players into equal teams.
