RACING APPEAL BOARD.

[BY TELEGRAPH—PUB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, April 3. Sir George Clifford presided ai a meeting of the Racing Conference Appeal Board yesterday, Mr <>. Samuel, and Mr W." E. Bidweil silting with him. The appeal of Ben Hoeley against the decision of the Auckland Metropolitan committee, who had cniilirmed the 12 months' disqualification by the Tnknpuiia .Jockey Club, was considered. The finding was in favor of the jockey, the judges ruling being that they "Do not find any evidence that appellant did jostle Pevrmporl (first jostle alleged in race) and in respect of the alleged jostle with lena there is not sufficient evidence to satisfy the judges thai a jostle (for which no action was taken by the stewards to question the result of the race) was, if it occurred, caused by any wilful or oven negligent act of the appellant." The appeal was quashed, and the deposits lodged by the appellant with the conference, and with fin 1 metropolitan committee refunded. In the matter of appeal of (lie Dannevirke Jcckey (Tub againsl (he decision of the Hawke's Buy Medio politan committee, who refused to approve of a fine for the noi starting of Full Cry after a voided start, the judges upheld the decision of the Metropolitan Committee who had full power to deal with the matter .
