TOWN HALL CONCERT.
A very interesting concert ami biograph entertainment was helii in the « Town Hall last night in aid of the | Greymouth Socialist party. Tin- 80l l hcinian Orchestra opened the pioceedi ings with an overture and played "-omo nice .selections during the exhibition of pictures. Mr Lionel Broad was very successful with his comic song "Tlio shop walker" and Mr W. Redshaw sang ".\ly Yorkshire Girl." j Songs were <-lso sang by Mis- Bumble. | Mr Alt King and (he ma!/ le tubers I 't tile Club sang their favorite uu.'irI ;■! "In Jungle Town." But i lie charm of the evening's entertainment was the Cakewalk danced by Miss hvi.o J \lackay and Master Stivpirm King in I which those two little dots simply xcelled themselves doing the uiaivli 'in most perfect i itne and ailing I heir j parts well. The number -ivoti by j ittie Misses '1 ina Ashton and lot tie i Michel was a speciality indeed I and fairly brought down the in.use, it i being most cleverly danced and sung. ; They were recalled and recalled for i! : and the audience was v.ty iittich delighted with the performance ot all these four midgets who also entei into : ihe spirit of the pieces wi'h a right _;ond will.
