WEST COAST RUGBY UNION
At the adjourned executive meeting held last evening there were present: Messrs J. Stenbouse (chair). J. Sullivan, ,1. Heffernan, M. Keating, D. McKay, J. O'Reilly, Drs Mcßrearty and McKay, and J. F. Wilson. A sub-committee consisting of Messrs Stenbouse, D. McKay and O'Reilly was appointed to meet the committees of both the United and .Star clubs at the Albion Hotel on Friday evenimr at 7.30 p.m. to come to some definite arrangements in connection with the proposal of the Union asking both clubs to place two senior teams each in the field. The following notice of motion was given, and will be discussed at the next general meeting of delegates:—:—"Owing to State Collieries now being able to enter a senior team without the aid of Cobden, the rules re the district scheme be amended to allow of Cobden taking part in junior football, and that for the pur-l-noses of senior football Cobden be included in the Greymouth district." The adjourned general meeting was fixed for Tuesday- April 19th. at 8 p.m.
