jBY TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION^ FIRE AT PALMERSTON. PALMERSTON N., This Day.—A five broke out at 12.50 this morning in rooms in the Square, occupied' bv Mr A. V. Barnard, a dentist. When discovered, tho fire had burnt through three rooms to the stairway. A half gale was blowing at the time, but the Brigade mot tho fire under before it obtained a good hold. The outbreak occurred apparently in sluvvings in the workroom and spread along the joints and side of the wall. The building was insured for £425. On March 14th an outbreak occurred in the same rooms, but was extinguished with slight damage.

DUNEDIN, This Day.—Tito Conciliation Commissioner this morning met the delegates from tho local bodies and the representatives of the General Laborers Union interested in the work controlled by the local bodies.
