SYDNKV, March 20. Mr Dafcin, Secretary of the Riile As,so nation, interviewed, "said the Australian team had formed the opinion that the I'reuthaiu range was the trickiest range in the world. The team had been puzzled ind beaten entirely by the conditions prevailing during the meeting. The chances if light and its effects on (Tie elevation were such as they never had the slightest experience of here. I'nder the prevailing conditions he considered the score made by the \ew Zealanders would beat any team in the world. On an Australian range he would not have the slightest tear with the same team, which, under normal conditions here, would prove equal to any New Zealand team. The general appointments at the Trent ham range were excellent, especially with regard to the telephone, which was so up-to-date as to put all Australian ranges to shame.
