SALVATION ARMY

HARVEST THANKSGIVING FESTIVAL. Extra special arrangements arc being made for this year's harvest festival at the Salvation Army barracks in Hospital Street which will extend over Sunday. Monday and Tuesday. The decorations are to Ihj something social and the display of the fruits of the earth will be well worth seeing. Dining Supnday morning afternoon and evening special thanksgiving services will bo held officers from other parts leading the meeting. A silver coin admission will be made on the two latter occasions. On Monday and Tuesday there will bo a special programme by Captain Langdon and his Blackball musical Company including the humorous sketch ''The Swagger and the morons sketch "The Farmer and the Swagger" for which sixpence admission will"be charged. A quantity of goods, including the fruit ami vegetables displayed will b<< sold on Tuesday evening! An inset with the town edition of this issue gives full particulars of the three days festival.
