THE URBAN 810 CO.
We would again remind the public of Greymouth of the treat in store for them at the Town Hall to-morrow evening, when a new series of pictures, including 1200 feet of film, depicting scenes in Rome at the time of Nero’s tyrannic rule there in the first century after Christ, which arc the brilliant feature of the evening’s display. It is said that “Nero fiddled while Rome was burning,” and if he played that instrument it is probable that he did as he is supposed to have set the city on fire. On this occasion, however, his place will he taken by Mr G. Martinongo, whose selections on the ’cello will he far better appreciated than Nero s fiddling was in the year 68 A.D.
