I°. the sixth ballot Dalgety was leading. In the seventh the voting was equal. The ninth and final resulted—Yass 39, Dalgety 33. The Senate has yet to give its verdict. SYDNEY, Oct 9. The Premier is gratified at the selection of Yass. The Canberra territory area embraces a triangle, roughly bounded by Yass, Canberra and Lake George. It is well watered and fertile. . The Camberra site standing by itself only received one vote. The Yass-Camberra site was selected amid loud cheering from all parts of the House. The supporters who advocating Dalgety sat silent. , In voting Victoria cast 6 votes for Yass and 16 for Dalgety; New South Wales 24 for Yass and 2 for Dalgety Queensland, 5 for Yass .and 4 for Dalgety; South Australia 1 for Yass and 4 for Dalgety; Westralia 5 for Dalgety and Tasmania. 3 for Yass and 2 for Dalgety.
