SYDNEY, October 7. The third day’s results arc: — Hurdles.—Aeolus 1, Mercury 2, Ryde 3. Eight starters. Aeolus established a lead from the jump and was never headed. Won comfortably by four lengths. Time 5.51. Craven Plate. —Mooltan 1, lolairc 2, Lord Nolan 3. When fairly going lolaire made the running and led past the mile post, two lengths from Mooltan.
