Resoigh offering the Princess Theatre for the J,aboiir Day ball, free of charge. Referred to the ball committee. Mr Stevenson reported having interviewed Dr Valentino, Tnspeetor-Cen-eral and lion Cl. Fowlds, Jiinistcr-in-Charge of Hospitals, re the grant for additions to the hospital buildings. It was decided that the question of additions etc., be left in the bands of tlio incoming visiting committee to con fer with Dr Tudehope with a view of preparing a sketch plan of the alterations as suggested by the medical officer and his report and plan to be forwarded to the architects Messrs Atkins and Bacon of Wellington.
